In this class, you make an 18″ – 20″ Classic Double-Edged Blade. You will forge the blade, harden and temper the blade, as well as file, sand polish, and sharpen the blade. On this knife, we make an iron hand guard. When we finish the blade, we move into making the custom hardwood handle. You will Mount, File, Shape, Sand, Stain and finish the handle to perfection. We finish up by sharpening the blade. This class requires that you bring a few of your own tools, something you can add to your own shop after the class, to continue your craft.
